We saw Benji Reid at the Opera House tonight, He was amazing, it was put on by the British Council. Ummm I would try to describe the evening but it would sound like a load of old wank, needless to say, it was cool with a relaxed Hip-Hop/ Break-beat errr soundly thing going on, was well wicked, this is the BC link. On the way out we saw work by The Crazy Prins while we were at the Opera house, very cool. Oh Also Emma told me I was acting like Jack out Of Will and Grace, ok her exact words were, Your acting like that guy out of Will and Grace, to which I though she meant Will, which would have been cool. Alias no Im Jack or if you watch enough of W&G Just Jack. Oh afterwards we went for a drink at the Opera bar and watched the Stars (the ones in the sky) even renaming a few constellations (Word spelling checks this as constipations) and as we were leaving found out that the bit of the bar that was closed off, was for the after do drinks that we had passes to, anyway we were having a better time outside watching the sky, although I would have liked to talk to Benji Reid, As for the constellations they can wait for another time.

So what the fuck is up with the BBC if you submit a comment to a story there is no confimation, you don't even go back to the story. Get this you go back to the home page, HELLO can you say winners. Oh and what was I reading, a load of arse it would appear, have science publications signed a deal with closed source software companies to only write about software that costs money, What is wrong with Spam Assassin

Well, a wonderful weekend is almost at an end. Our David Jones vouchers arrived the other day from New Scientist, so on Saturday we wandered into town to spend our money, after walking round the store for what must have been 2 hours we ended up getting a load of kitchen stuff and a cool cordless phone, Yay Yay. After shopping ourselves into a rest and a glass of wine we decided to go for dinner and after ringing round about 3 places finally found somewhere that wasnt booked. Its called Buzo, and it was amazing, the waiter was friendly but not false or imposing, the setting was neutral and relaxing and the food was totally scrumptious. Neither of us was very hungry, however we both managed to find room for 3 courses. It was sort of expensive, however I think the price was inline with the total experience. Oh and its the first place in Sydney that does a proper Macchiato.
On the walk home we could hear Bruce Springsteen playing live so after wandering round for a bit we found the best place to listen was on our balcony at home, it was a surreal way to end the evening.
And today we went over to Manly to see Zoe and Vinnie and go to the beach. It was overcast when we woke up but all thought it would be worth a shot anyway. On the ferry over it started to rain and all was looking lost. Once we got to Manly we popped up to see their flat which is enormous and then decided to give the beach a go.
It turned out to be hot as buggery and I even ended up doing a bit of body surfing, loads of fun.
After that we went for a wander round the bay to another beach for a late lunch, which was most yummy. We then wandered back in search of coffee and all ended up getting dessert as well and are now feeling rather fat and tired.

Well first day of work is over and I think I managed not to scare too many people, there being only eight people in the office :D. I would however like to point out to people that there must be something in the Geneva Conventation about hours of work and what is allowed as a start time. I'm sure most of you will agree that 8:30 am is an hour to be asleep and safely tucked up in bed :|. Another thing if you are going to move country take your keyboard with you, its of little use to be able to touch type if some silly bastard has moved the keys, mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. Anyway first day good, yippee for work. Oh New Zealand was good, Air New Zealand was shite, never ever ever ever fly with them, did I say EVER, yes, right good. More later.
Sunday, March 02, 2003
Well the Cup is on its way to a country that doesn't have anywhere to race it wahoo wahoo. Who is to blame, silly fucking small minded New Zealanders, I mean what else can we fuck up, give way or otherwise screw up sporting wise, we managed to lose co-hosting the rugby world cup and now lose the Americas Cup. If the people running Team New Zealand had have been more interested in the sport and less in money and glam maybe we could have keep the best yachts men in the world and held the cup, ah well.

We have just got back from a long day in the sun, went to our cafe for breakfast, amazing bacon and eggs, then got the bus out to Bronte beach where we lay in the sun for most of the day. There was almost no cloud it was brillant, a really chilled out beach. After the beach we wandered down and watched the mardi gras parade . The end of the parade was only about a 15 minute walk from the house sooooooo it was easy getting there. It started at about 1/4 to 8 and didn't really finish until about 10 or so, a really chilled out event with loads of cool floats, I think emma got some pictures, if so I'll put them up when I get a chance.

Good one, don't worry about Iraqi, there is some sad kiwi who doesn't have a life trying to cock things up. You can read about it on the bbc. Baaaaaaa I wish people had more of a life.

So the dangers of having a barbeque, I was lighting it this evening and managed to get a large amount of very hot match head in my eye, needless to say after a lot of jumping round with my eye under the bathroom tape I managed to get most of the crud out. None the less, remember matches are not our friends; then again you wouldnt be if someone was going to rub your head against a box until it burst into flame. Anyway BBQ got going fine and we had a scrumptious dinner of spud, steak and green veggies, and just as we were finishing it started to rain, so even the rain had timing. OOOOOOOOOOOO our boxes are somewhere in the country being questioned by customs as to there terrorist status and then we maybe allowed them, so soon I shall have my PS2, PC and well two and half other boxes of err stuff. Then world domination can start up again.
Americas cup isnt going really well at the moment, it will get better, err please get better. I sat up and watched the cricket the other night against South Africa, so I only really saw our innings, because we were out having drinks with some friends. Back on track however, the game didnt finish until 3 in the morning and then I spent umm 10 or 20 minutes talking to Ash about it, so I was totally shattered the next day, thank god for not working, otherwise no cricket for Jono, boo. It was a good game, very exciting and of course we won, which always makes a good game.
It cant be to long before bikes start back up, ok ok, so I know its not till near the end of March, but that has to be soonish. The Ducati looks amazing and there is hope for Aprilia with Edwards and Haga, tis going to be a good season, hopefully Ill have time to keep an eye on Superbikes as well

Had a late start today after having a few to many last night, although had a yummy dinner at the Light brigade (A pub round the corner from our house). Went down to darling harbour and caught some of the Dragon boat racing and got some yummy food, which got rid of my hangover. After that we caught the ferry to Manly to catch up with Zoe and Vinny to try lawn bowling, it turned out to be a load of laughs and not as hard as either Emma or I had thought, so another cool day.
Saturday, February 08, 2003
Righto, Forgot to say last night that we went to see the Quiet American, it wasn't great, it was a bit crap, it could and should have been a LOT better, cool story. For every English person who bitched at me about the number of antipodeans that worked in bars and pubs etc, there seems to be a proportionate number of English people working in the serving industry here, in fact I think we have only heard about 6 Australians since we got here. We have just got back from buying Emma some new geek toys, and she is now the proud owner of a Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse.
Articles I am currently reading Oracle and clustering, I haven't read it all, but it looks as though they had the same ideas as we did, but a bit more time and money :D.

We went to watch the Chinese New Year parade in the center of town today, it was really great, amazing dragons and a relaxed atmosphere. After the parade went past us we followed it down into Chinatown and ended up at the Chinese gardens next to Darling Harbour, where there was an amazing dragon display with cracker at the end, was very cool, the dragon guys are very fit. After the display we went for a wander through the gardens, they are brillant built 2 waterfalls, loads of fish, birds and even a couple of lizards, really relaxing. Also stopped off for lunch in there tea rooms and had Dim Sum, yummy yummy. We were walked back via the rocks, so we could have a look at the market and had just stopped for a beer when Dad called to say hello, and he told me about this. Apart from the lose to the families I wonder how many years it will put back the space program. Instead of bombing Iraq maybe Bush should move all that new found money to space. Oh well, not a happy day after that. Popped into our local cafe ( Hot Gossip) for a quick snack on the way home, as per usual very yummy. Buggered now so I'm gunna go to sleep.
Ummm ok, this is funny, thank you /.. Went to the Cafe round the corner from us for breakfast this morning for another yummy big breakfast, ok we don't get the breakfast we get toast, but still, we are build up to a breakfast. Ahhhh back in a land where a cafe isn't a chain, serves good food and coffee. Went over to Manly in the afternoon lay on the beach, then went to the New Brighton Hotel for a couple of beers before meeting up with Vinney and Zoe for a Few more beers ( and a drunken call to Neela so she could hear dimitri playing ) and then some yummy food at a resturant all Out of Africa, most yum.

Righto not sure how far Ill get with this seeing as I have loads to tell and Im not sure how long I can be bothered to stay up.
Had a good chat with Richard and Jane the other day over yahoo, cant wait till ADSL turns up and we can try again. I imagine the quality will improve if Im not on dial up.
Rob and his daughter Hannah were over round last weekend, it was good to catch up with him and go for a wander to the star wars thing on at Power House Museum in Darling Harbour.
On Sunday Emma and I wandered down to the Opera house to watch the Australian Day ferry race and then headed out to have a barbeque at Rob sisters Penny, although before leaving Circular Key to head out to Pennys we saw the maddest women, she was wander up to people and either hit them or tried to set them alight with a lighter, weird.
On the Saturday before Australia Day, Emma and I wander up to Centennial Park to go to the moonlight cinema which is cool although, spot the "out of towners", that was us with no mozzie killer, anything to sit on, any jumpers, anything to eat or drink. However the ground was comfortable enough and you could buy a bottle of wine for about ten dollars, so it was loads of fun and the movie was good.
Its been all go on the job front this week, have spoken to people and sent about 45 billion emails out ( ok a few less) and seem to be making some head way, key thing if you are about to move countries, make sure that your job market isnt dead.
Oh rich sent me this link it would appear its now cool in England, now that I have left, noooooooooooooooooooo I didnt wanna see your bloody stupid snow anyway!
Oh last night I was introduced to the wild life of Sydney, we had a Huntsman move into the bathroom. Emma wouldnt let me relocate him, so he had to sleep with the fishes. So Im now an arachnid gangster, needless to say not cool in the karma department, booo.

It is well different being here, its sooo like home, although the people are friendlier than home, although Im not sure if thats just because we have accents , we'll find out.

Anyway, Sydney seems cool so far, its been good weather so far, the people are brill and the food is yumsville kentucy.

Last day at work and last whole day in the country. Spent all of yesterday cleaning and packing, how much work can it be to tidy a one bedroom flat for #@?!s sake, oh well is almost done now. My birthday and christmas were cool, went to Greenwich for a last look round on my birthday and then caught up with a few friends for drinks in the evening at The George. Clare (Emma's sister ) and Lisa (My sister ) came over for Christmas arriving on Christmas Eve and we are all about a Stone heavier after eating far too much of Emmas yummy cooking.

Well its been about two weeks since I last had a chance to blog and its also two weeks till we fly out, wahoo wahoo. OK so over the last two weeks we seem to have been either drinking, hungover or a sleep went and stayed with Fran and James in Alton had a yummy dinner and got to see there new house, had dinner with Jane and Richard and then with Dave and Lucy, the christmas party on tuesday finally managed to catch up with David Maurice on Thursday then had leaving drinks with a load of friends in covent garden last night, needless to say Emma and I spent today lying round doing sod all today. It beginning to get more than a little weird now, we still haven't finished packing, ok we haven't really started yet , we had our last day at work with Ash on friday and wont see some people again until either we come back up here or they come down and visit.
Tuesday, December 03, 2002
Spent the weekend in Brighton with some of Emmas friends, Emma, Ali,Phil and Andy, stayed at Emma and Andy's cool flat in Kemp town. Got there on Saturday afternoon and had a lax evening of yummy food and too much wine. On Sunday all woke up rather late and went for a wander to the Tin Drum and had a rather greasy breakfast, although if you are going to go, stay clear of there mushrooms, they taste strange.Muppet
Saturday, November 30, 2002
Borris Johnson was the presenter of Have I got News for You lastnight, I think he was probably the best so far although I'm not sure if it would be brilliant if he was always presenting, get Jonathan Ross I say. Looks like they are all lining up to have a go, but will we see our Tony, I think not. Check out who directed the latest James bond.

Well we lost the rugby, boooo. Also for the first time in 25 years ( ish ) the fire fighters in England have gone on strike for 48 hours with strikes later on for 8 days, no one play with matches. Also a guy has been freed after 25 years in jail. What do you say, sorry ummmmm yeah 1/3 of your life in jail, ummm yeah, here is a fiver. Anyway, its getting towards the sharp end of the year, not sure if Emma and I have a free weekend before we fly out, mwaaaa. Getting very excited about the move, wanna get there now, find a job and start enjoying it (before anyone says anything, yes I will miss people here).

Emma and I went for a wander to Leighton House today, wonderful day, nice and crisp. Leighton house was brillant although one would imagine not that amazing to live in. On the way to the tube we even managed to find me a fleece type jacket. It is a Mac Pac Vapour Jacketwhich, seems warm enough, isn't too bulky or hot so I may even wear it more than once. This is it.
Thursday, October 31, 2002
Righto, remembered what I was going to say before. Emma's friend Jane is over from US for a week so we went out for dinner on monday night, we met up at her hotel, went for a few drinks in a near by bar and ended up at Pescatori for some nosh, was most yummy. Had to go into work on tuesday for half a day to help out Ash, as there was a bit of a server crisis, it all seems under control now but was a bit of a hassle ( Massive under statement) . It does however continually surprise me how little some people think before opening there mouths in a time of total panic, anyway glad I was only in for half a day. After my wee jaunt back to work Emma and I went for lunch at L 'Escargot , was most yummy and I would recomend eating there yum yum yum.

Went to Neela and Steves last night, to say hello and see the new pad. After all the warnings about the wallpaper and carpets, it was a bit of a let down, the patterns are a bit odd and the carpet colours are interesting, but nothing as bad as Neela had made out. The evening started out normal enough but after a few drinks we ended up comparing each others heights by drawing on the walls, I don't think steve was very impressed, but I guess they wont be loosing there bond :D. Neela made lots of yummy food so everyone is a lot fatter now, mostly veggie and very bloody hot. Then Mitl gave Emma and I a lift back into london in her spunky new Peugeot 206, which was nice of her.
Sunday, October 20, 2002
Went to Clare and Als lastnight for dinner, was cool to catch up haven't seen them for a while, ended up playing all together to much Virtua Fighter 4(Hmmm you may wanna find an English link). Lisa is in London this weekend so she came by this morning and we all went for a wander round, ended up going to St James park then to Cabient War rooms, which was kinda cool, although the women on the desk was a total mutt, ability to talk to people, nooooooooooooooooo.
Tuesday, October 15, 2002
Bloody hell Emma just sent me this, needless to say I dont think I'll be buying any of the booze for a bit.
Monday, October 14, 2002
More Brilliance from Will, check it, amazing what you can find on the web, in Wills words ""Imagine Destiny's Child were northern and made of cat..."
Was looking round for a few thinks and found this article at Software Reality, looks like a good site and an interesting article. Once again it looks as though anything that people say is clever we don't do it as a company, boo suck.
Sunday, October 13, 2002
Hmmm no blog for a bit, my uncles partner died last week, totally unexpected and very shitty, anyway mum is taking the funeral on Monday, She is a braver person than I. Anyway onto happier things, saw the Dallaways on Thursday night, which was fabulous , calling Jane and Richard The Dallaways was a cheap attempt to get out of a bit of typing, not sure if it will catch on or no. anyway, back to Thursday night, we meet up at revolution for a few drinks, a small nibble and a look through Jane and Richards wedding photos, although being the slack ass I am I only got through about half of them while others power looked through them all, booo. Anyway after that we went to the Akbar to a friend of Richards pre-show party for anjali, which was cool, felt like shit the next day after drinking to much, although it was all very yummy.
Sunday, October 06, 2002
We have just finished watching Parkinson on BBC 1, whose guests were Robin Williams and comedian Stephen Fry, both of whom I love to watch, Robin Williams is so quick and has sooo much energy he is brilliant, and Fry is just a wonderful man. Anyway have spent just about all of today in bed after going out to dinner with some of Emmas friends and ending up in some Shisha club, where we had to wait for the Hamiltons to leave before we could get a table. Anyway we were both very hungover today. ummm yeah.
Tuesday, October 01, 2002
Righto, I'm case your are interested Jack Ruby Killed Oswald and Sirhan Sirhan Robert Kennedy. If you needed a reason to watch Superbikes over F1, it was made clear when in the last race of the year, even when Edwards could settle for second and there was f all chance of Bayliss winning ( the championship), they were both racing hard nuts, it was fucking brilliant, unlike F1, which was once again staged, load of arse.

Oh please be true, Futurama as a PS2 game, wahoo wahoo. Now if only they would bring out season 2 and 3 on DVD.
Saturday, September 21, 2002
Righto before anyone gets arsey I know absinth doesn't make the heart grow stronger, but fonder. It probably does neither, on my 4th now so it's just making me burble shite, like I've just found the top of a bottle of Pelorus ( Cloudy Bay), and before you worry dears it was vintage , none of the common stuff, narf narf, sorry. Amazing I looked out the window about 2 hours ago expecting it to be completely dead and there were hundreds of people outside, living in the centre of London can throw you, wasn't that loud, right must be sleep time now.
This is not going to be most lucid blog ever as I'm on my 3rd Absinth, and it's not true Absinth doesn't make the heart grow stronger it appears to make the eyes grow worse and the nose pick (bad pun, yes, yes) up on the weirdest smells. I'm going to forecast that it will not make me the most popular person in the flat. I have the rest of this blog in Open Office till I can get it checked for wild incorrectness and other such misgivings, so nigh, nigh, gunna leave you with this cos it is cool and has made us both happy in an otherwise shite week, ta ra.
Tuesday, September 17, 2002
Emma and I have just finished watching the first episode of Ultimate Force some of the dialogue seems a bit crap but it looks like it will be a bit of fun.
Arse, just lost 15 minutes of blogging double arse, righto, briefy drunk, wednesday through friday (very very),saturday at a birthday / house warming, friends of Emmas, really really nice, friends and house. Back to the wedding, got to meet more of Richard and Janes friends and catch up with some I have already met, really cool. After a very yummy dinner, there was the maddest Jazz band, with five of the most different people you could imagine, but by god they could play. Emma and I ended up going to bed about midnight 1ish, and surprise, surprise woke up in the morning feeling really good, AND remember all of the previous day, I can highly recommend it as a way to spend a wedding. However Steve was up till 4 so wasn;t so good :D, that didn't stop Emma, myself, Neela and Steve going for a wander around the village and out across someones farm, then back into the village to a cool little pub for lunch, which was fucking amazing country pub food is about 98 billion times better than london pub food. Oh yeah our room was f huge and really nice, ok I may update this a bit at a later stage so it makes sense.

It was Richard and Janes wedding this weekend just been, Emma and I caught the train up on Saturday morning with Neela and Steve. Surprisingly even though we had a change trains everything went without a hitch and we got our hotel in a heap of time. We stayed at the Londesborough Arms, which was also the location of the reception, which is a brilliant idea. Jane and Rich put on a bus to and from the church, the service was cool I'm not a churchy person, even so I enjoyed it, Jane and Rich both looked really great and from the guest point of view it was a relaxed nice service without the heavy god bit that you can have at weddings. More later...
Oh thanks to Lisa for pointing out that I can't spell my own name, it may now be fixed.

Just finished watching Notting Hill on Channel 4 with Emma. I haddn't seen it before, It's was really cool I haven't laughed like that for sooo long, it was brilliant.
Ok, haven't blogged for a while, and this is probably gunna be short cos I'm totally buggered, watched the Super Bikes, Clare and Al came over last night after going flat hunting after the flat they were going to move into on friday fell through about 6 hours before they were meant to move in, hmmmm headline "flat own gets knee capped, judge lets cappers off, warns flat owner not to be such a wanker". Thursday night went to the boardwalk (link somewhere else and I can't be arsed finding it now) and were having fun until Emmas bag walked out with someone else, people that lift stuff should have there goolies cut off with a soldering iron. Oh went to Luigi's on ummm wednesday or tuesday or, no no it must have been one of those two, anyway there were these people at another table who kept running up to the speaker and putting there phone next to it ( and dialing a number ) and then a sms would arrive and it would be all the details of the music playing, artist album etc, and you could buy it from there site. blah blah blah.
Saturday, August 24, 2002
Emma and I just walked back from tesco's and saw the most amazing thing, it was raining on our street but not where we were, kinda cool being able to see the rain and walking into it. I'm sounding like a stoner, maybe you had to be there. Right seeing as two people have now asked, we are moving to Oz, no we aren't planning on getting married, I'm not sure why moving to a new country infers marriage, but there you go.
Thursday, August 22, 2002
Went out for drinks with people from work for Wills birthday lastnight, started at board walk and ended up at form again, was cool. Emma couldn't make it cos she was feeling totally buggered which was a bit shite.

From the mail server:
The wombat lives across the seas,
Among the far Antipodes.
He may exist on nuts and berries,
Or then again, on missionaries;
His distant habitat precludes
Conclusive knowledge of his moods.
But I would not engage the wombat
In any form of mortal combat.

Well we have finally told everyone (ok some people) at work that we are leaving. I can't believe it's only four months to go,about time to start looking for work I guess. Clare and Al came over for dinner last night, was cool to see them, managed to not drink an insane amount, which is good. About to go for a walk and spend some money then its out into the sun, it's meant to get to 33 today so its going to be crazy. Righto.

What a brilliant night, apart from the hell that was the Wednesday update and our XML data store being shite, went to the George for a few, then decided to look around for somewhere new and found form which was soo cool, fucking amazing Hip-Hop, New York styles from 80s/90s insane break dancing, fucking brilliant. From there we went onto some place playing lounge / Jazz, which was well laid back and wicked, this is how Soho living should be, fucking Brill. Ooo also discovered a load fun using a mobile and predicative texting.
Oh and from My West Minster Noel[1] lives round here, hmmm haven't seen him much.

Well it's half twelve and I can't sleep so I may as well blog now rather than the morning. Emma and I took Monday off and had a long weekend, and and saw her parents, my god rail in this country is crap. One reason to come back on the Monday rather than Sunday was that there is line maintenance from Now till the end of the year on every weekend, with means ever train journey to the north west is broken with an hour bus trip, needless to say the train companies were saying it would only add an hour or so to the journey, however if you believe this look outside there are pigs flying. It was however nice to be out of London and as always wonderful and relaxing to see them, even if we have both eaten and drunken what we would normally consume in two week in 3 days. Oh yes and the clan gets bigger Mike and Trish had a baby girl, Sophie Patricia, 7 lb 4 oz born at 5 past 12 on Monday morning so wahoo wahoo, hopefully we hear more from Lisa at some stage. Back to staying at Emma's parents, it was sooooooooo nice to be somewhere without constant noise, in fact quite the opposite, almost constant silence and by god its refreshing, means you can really relax. Oooo spoke to Dad on his birthday last week, he and mum been out to dinner and both sounded good, which is cool. One last thing about rail coming back on monday it was a direct train, no stops and they were still 25 minutes late on a journey that was meant to take 2 and half hours, how, how how, the "train manager" said it was due to speed restrictions, but surely they knew of these before the train left our station, when they gave our ETA, the restrictions have only been in place for about 2 months, grrrr.

Out drinking lastnight, and just had two bacon and egg sandwiches and instead of being at the beginning of the day I should really be getting back into bed and going to sleep for a few hours. However to sort out a few things about Mt Rushmore, the Presidents are George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, its Located in Keystone, South Dakota. I want one of these how cool is that, of course not quite as cool as one of these.
Well we are back to the hell of Excelon, I mean we are only using it as a glorified operating system and for searching over 2500 ~3K documents AND it goes tits up, ummmm hello, never pay for XML Store espically when its totally crap. Use open source look here if you want something thats probably good look here, baaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

Went to Jane and Richards combined hen and stag do yesterday in Brighton for a day of kitsch on the pier, it was loads of fun, playing crazy golf, arcade games and going on some of the rides. We then all wandered up to a restaurant part way up the hill for dinner. Emma and I only hung round for a drink as we are both feeling coldy and completely buggered, which was a shame it would have been nice to stay for dinner and have been able to more of a chat with people. We had a fun day anyway so thanks Jane and Rich. Sports wise I see in the herald that the All Blacks lost to the Wallabies, I really don't see them being a good team for a few more years yet, boo suck.

Emma and I went to Pret at for lunch and Tom Baker was sitting next to us. No scarf though, I guess he was traveling in disguise. Oh and to lower the tone this from Ms Fothergill.
Its hot as hell at the moment, although its meant to be cooler than yesterday, it was 33 yesterday and its not much less today, ummmm yeah, right I'm just looking for a reason not to read Richards crypto book at the moment which is why I'm dribbling into my blog so I'm going to go read about authenication wooooooo. But before I go, I found this and I want some, I dunno why, just do. Ok, just remember what I was going to talk about, I was coming out of Pret with lunch and their was a car parked up on the footpath with a hood up and water everywhere in front of the car, the water had gone about 2 or 3 metres. Do people not know to leave radiators alone when their car is dying of heat exhaustion, poor car.

Ok, looooooooooooooooooong weekend, friday night went for work drinks for a features editor and ended up at a pub north of Oxford street and bumbed into a guy I went to school with, everyone sing "its a small world after all" Saturday I wasn't feeling to crash hot, but managed to get out of bed and make my way to Lisas for a BBQ, it was really really good got to catch up with a couple of cousins and friend of the family and meet some people Lisa works with. I was really nice to be out of London and into the fresh air, Lisa has horses and peacocks in the paddocks across the road from her cottage and while we were all sitting round in the back yard there were wood pidegons in the trees and then later when it was dark bats, sooo cool. I was sooo relaxing to have an evening without sirens and drunken bastard outside the window. Came back about lunchtime today after chatting briefly with Dad. Emma and I have just got back (ok about an hour ago) from "A Romantic Journey with the Queen of Sheba", which was put on by the British Museum, Philharmonia Orchestra,National Theatre and Barclays. It was brillant, it was set up in the courtyard of the Museum and went from 7:30 to 10:00, it was a mix of music pieces and readings. It breaks in the music for the readings worked well and gave you a chance to take it all in, and vice versa, the final piece was the Indiana Jones music, with the maddest light show you have ever seen, wonderous, righto I look through this tomorrow and add full stops etc, night night.

For the love of sweet Jesus its not a fast scanner, then again it is an active X control running in an IE window, hmmm that last bit makes me think I'm mad, who the hell would run a virus scanner that uses active X AND IE, probably a virus installer, maybe you shouldn't do this at 1/4 to 2 in the morning.
Can't sleep, so instead of annoying Emma I thought I'd come and surf for a bit, and for those who may want to know I'm wearing pants ( underwear in other parts of the world), so no cold chair syndrome this morning. Trying an online virus scanner called active scan by panda software so far its found one virus which is a shit, but also why I'm trying it out. Hmmm forgotten what I was going to say, oh yeah amazing how at night your mind can wander, mine usually to the negative and how quickly your mood can change by rolling over and watching the person next too you sleeping, just the sound of them breath, rad. Oh good one the virus I think I have comes from Spain and guess which server my online virus scanner has connected to .es, oh wahoo wahoo.

Nurgel, Sunday night can't sleep yet so I'm here to talk pooh, for a while, Emma got back from Spain safe, brown and totally tired from work so Friday was pretty quiet, which was cool, oh got her flowers as a welcome home thing, 3 foot tall Sun flowers, very cool, although you do get some weird looks walking down Old Compton Street with a bunch of Sun flowers ;). Saturday we caught up with Claire, Emma's sister for her birthday and went to a pub on a park in Mile End, it was a hot day so spent most of the day wandering back and forth getting beer and lying round. Had a really cool day Emma got so drunk, not quiet sure how she managed to have no trace of a hangover this morning. Today we woke up lateish and wandered down to St James park via M & S to get a small picnic, lay round all day reading and sleeping, was nice. Got back and Emma made the most amazing Salad with blue cheese and smoked salmon, yum yum.
