Ok, looooooooooooooooooong weekend, friday night went for work drinks for a features editor and ended up at a pub north of Oxford street and bumbed into a guy I went to school with, everyone sing "its a small world after all" Saturday I wasn't feeling to crash hot, but managed to get out of bed and make my way to Lisas for a BBQ, it was really really good got to catch up with a couple of cousins and friend of the family and meet some people Lisa works with. I was really nice to be out of London and into the fresh air, Lisa has horses and peacocks in the paddocks across the road from her cottage and while we were all sitting round in the back yard there were wood pidegons in the trees and then later when it was dark bats, sooo cool. I was sooo relaxing to have an evening without sirens and drunken bastard outside the window. Came back about lunchtime today after chatting briefly with Dad. Emma and I have just got back (ok about an hour ago) from "A Romantic Journey with the Queen of Sheba", which was put on by the British Museum, Philharmonia Orchestra,National Theatre and Barclays. It was brillant, it was set up in the courtyard of the Museum and went from 7:30 to 10:00, it was a mix of music pieces and readings. It breaks in the music for the readings worked well and gave you a chance to take it all in, and vice versa, the final piece was the Indiana Jones music, with the maddest light show you have ever seen, wonderous, righto I look through this tomorrow and add full stops etc, night night.
