Emma and I went to Pret at for lunch and Tom Baker was sitting next to us. No scarf though, I guess he was traveling in disguise. Oh and to lower the tone this from Ms Fothergill.
Its hot as hell at the moment, although its meant to be cooler than yesterday, it was 33 yesterday and its not much less today, ummmm yeah, right I'm just looking for a reason not to read Richards crypto book at the moment which is why I'm dribbling into my blog so I'm going to go read about authenication wooooooo. But before I go, I found this and I want some, I dunno why, just do. Ok, just remember what I was going to talk about, I was coming out of Pret with lunch and their was a car parked up on the footpath with a hood up and water everywhere in front of the car, the water had gone about 2 or 3 metres. Do people not know to leave radiators alone when their car is dying of heat exhaustion, poor car.

Ok, looooooooooooooooooong weekend, friday night went for work drinks for a features editor and ended up at a pub north of Oxford street and bumbed into a guy I went to school with, everyone sing "its a small world after all" Saturday I wasn't feeling to crash hot, but managed to get out of bed and make my way to Lisas for a BBQ, it was really really good got to catch up with a couple of cousins and friend of the family and meet some people Lisa works with. I was really nice to be out of London and into the fresh air, Lisa has horses and peacocks in the paddocks across the road from her cottage and while we were all sitting round in the back yard there were wood pidegons in the trees and then later when it was dark bats, sooo cool. I was sooo relaxing to have an evening without sirens and drunken bastard outside the window. Came back about lunchtime today after chatting briefly with Dad. Emma and I have just got back (ok about an hour ago) from "A Romantic Journey with the Queen of Sheba", which was put on by the British Museum, Philharmonia Orchestra,National Theatre and Barclays. It was brillant, it was set up in the courtyard of the Museum and went from 7:30 to 10:00, it was a mix of music pieces and readings. It breaks in the music for the readings worked well and gave you a chance to take it all in, and vice versa, the final piece was the Indiana Jones music, with the maddest light show you have ever seen, wonderous, righto I look through this tomorrow and add full stops etc, night night.
